His legacy will live on in his children Kerry Leigh Barnett, Dennis Daniel Davis, Jeffrey Todd Davis, Holly Lyn Davis, and Amy Patricia Davis and in his grandchildren William Joshua Richardson, Rylan James Davis, Logan Scott Steel, and Kaylee Alexa Davis. Dennis’s expertise in the field of excavation was well known to all in the business. His professional yet laid back personality set him apart. He believed in taking pride in his work and being a man of his word.  He loved NASCAR and Alabama football.  His mantra of “Roll Tide!” was used often, both in private and in public.  But his greatest love was his family.  Dennis adored his wife Donna and all of their children. His love grew exponentially when he became a grandfather. One of the true honors of his life was to called “Papa.”  Dennis made a huge impact on all those he met and he will be greatly missed.
