Denise Johnson Morgan
With broken hearts we share the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and mimi Denise Johnson Morgan. She entered into eternal rest on September 24th, 2025 at the age of 65.
Denise was the heart of our family and the center of our world and though words will never fully capture the depth of our love for her we want to honor the extraordinary woman she was.She had a wonderful gift for making every person she met feel so special. She loved unconditionally and filled our lives as well as so many others with warmth, laughter, and comfort.
She was a devoted wife to Randy Morgan who together shared an amazing 50 years together, full of love, laughter, strength, adventures and countless cherished memories.
As a mother she poured her heart into raising her children Courtney Blackburn and Ryan Morgan. She was our rock, our encourager, and our safe place. She guided us with wisdom, loved us unconditionally and taught us the true meaning of grace, kindness and resilience.
Her greatest joy and honor however came from being a mimi to Brantlee and Paisley Blackburn and Eli and soon to be Hudson Morgan. She cherished every single moment with them, from picking up sticks around the yard, sharing a bowl of chocolate chip ice cream, and all the trips to the pet store to pick out fish for the fish tank and making sure each fish had a name. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she was theirs.
She leaves behind her husband Randy Morgan; children Courtney (Jake) Blackburn, Ryan (Marie) Morgan; and grandchildren Brantlee and Paisley Blackburn and Eli and Hudson Morgan and brother, Timothy Johnson. Who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
She is preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Eastwood Johnson; brother Jeffery Johnson; granddaughter Riley Morgan and Aunt Liz.
Though our lives will never be the same, we find comfort and peace in knowing her love will continue to surround us. She was our everything- a wife, a mother, our best friend and the best mimi. Her memory will forever be carried in our hearts.
We love you mama!!!
Visitation will be held Saturday at New Hope Funeral Home from 11am to 1pm. The service will follow at 1pm. Family and friends are invited to join us in honoring her remarkable life and love she shared so freely.
