Denise E. Dusenbery McMinn, 48, of Tuscumbia passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014. Visitation will be Monday from 6-9 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Cowboy Church of Colbert County with Bro. Truman Sutton officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Denise was a member of the Cowboy Church of Colbert County and the Colbert Heights Volunteer Fire Department. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, John Edwards.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Mike McMinn; parents, Leonard and Donna Reeves; son, Michael McMinn; daughters, Cristal Stewart and husband, Matt and Katie McMinn; brothers, Dennis Mitchell, Marvin Reeves and Bobby Joe Reeves; sisters, Pam Randall, Bonnie Backus and Tonya Reeves; grandchildren, Riley, Ally Grace and Lilly Stewart; mother-in-law, Evelyn Sockwell Edwards and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Hill, Josh Simpson, Josh Emory, Codey Cain, Joshua Cain, Bryan Softly, Jeremy Jones and Michael Powers.
