Denise Carrigan Coats, 62, of Florence, was the children’s minister at Woodmont Baptist Church. We rejoice in the ultimate healing of Denise Carrigan Coats who was re-united with her savior on May, 24, 2018.
We will gather to celebrate her life on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Woodmont Baptist Church with a visitation from 12:30 -2:30 p.m. followed by a service. Brother Chad Hess will be officiating. A graveside service will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her father, Warren Thomas Carrigan, Sr.
Survivors include her husband, Tony Coats; mother, Ila Carrigan; sons, Matthew Coats (Katye), and Mark Coats; daughter, Mary Beth Coats; brother, Tom Carrigan (Pam); grandchildren, Cohen and Maura Kate Coats; and nephews, Warren and Ryan Carrigan; as well as her extended family, cherished friends, and countless children to whom she ministered during her time as Director of King’s Kids and Children’s Minister at Woodmont Baptist Church.
Serving as pallbearers will be Richard Richey, Josh Rains, Sam Stephenson, Jay Stephenson, Taylor Spinks, Chase Holcombe, Jonathan Dunlap, and Johnathon Hodges.
The family would like to ask that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Relay for Life of Shoals Colbert.
