Denford LaVaughn Davis, age 52, of Spruce Pine, passed away on Saturday, at UAB Hospital.
Vaughn started working as a machinist in 1989 and worked as a superviso4r for nearly 30 years. He was a very smart and talented man, very artistic. He loved hunting arrowheads and rocks, loved riding his grandchildren around on the lawn mower, and especially loved his corvette. Above everything, he loved his kids and his grandbabies.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Denford Davis & Reva Ann Ward Davis; brother, Michael Ren Davis; grandparents, Hubert & Mary Katherine Davis.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his children, Levi Davis, Brooke Davis (Tyler); grandchildren, Lexi, Haygen, Blaklee, Briggs, Brooklynn, Brayden, Holland and baby girl soon to arrive; brother, John Davis (Andrea); nieces & nephew, Ali Davis, Dakota Davis, Kaitlyn Davis; great-niece, Makenna; and a host of friends.
The visitation will be 11:00 – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 01, 2022 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Bro. Sherman Kimbrough will officiate the service. Burial will be at Dempsey Cemetery.
