Delpha Marie Hayden, age 83, a resident of Chapel Hill, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at her residence.
Born on August 23, 1937 in Illinois, Delpha was the daughter of the late Charles Johnson Moutray and the late Mary Bradley Moutray. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and liked to be outdoors. She liked to go camping. Most of all, she loved her grandkids and great grandkids.
She is survived by her daughter: Lisa Hayden of Chapel Hill; son: Terry Hayden of Mounte Carmel, IL; grandchildren: Jason Hayden and Jeremy (Shannon) Hayden; great grandchildren: Elizabeth, Avery, Trevor, Levi, Brayden, Keegan, and Savannah; special family friend: Gail Ash; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Hayden; and siblings: William Moutray, Kenneth Moutray, Elsie Sayge, and Velma Lashbrook.
