In loving memory of my dear wife, Deloris Atkinson, who left this world loving her family and her Jesus on April 17, after a sudden illness. She was 78. Visitation will be today at 11 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville, Tennessee. Service will follow at 1 p.m., and she will be laid to rest at Oakmont Cemetery in Centerville.
Deloris was preceded in death by her parents, Church and Louise Terpening, and daughter, Suzan Miller. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Richard Atkinson; daughter, Patricia Thompson (Royal Warren); brother, Jesse Miller; sister, Mary Parsley; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
