Delores Marie Simmons Johnson, 61 of Arab died Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at her residence.
Mrs. Johnson was born March 15, 1954 in Tylertown, Mississippi, the daughter of Clifford and Doris Duncan Simmons. She was a Homemaker, a member of the Pentecostal Faith and a resident of Arab for the past 18 years. She was married to Donald R. Johnson, her husband of 39 years.
She is survived by her husband: Donald R. Johnson; a daughter: Jennifer K. Johnson; a grandson: Garrett Alexander Johnson; a brother and sister-in-law: Robert L. “Bob” and Judy Simmons and a sister: Gilda Kay McCain; preceded in death by a son: Christopher Donald Johnson and by her parents: Clifford and Doris Simmons.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, Brother Larry Conley, officiating. Burial will be in Gilliam Springs Cemetery, Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Josh Baker, Eric Calhoun, Thomas Calhoun, Scott Creel, Dennis Knox and Craig Newcomb. Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Cline and Bob Simmons.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2015 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
