Delores Hamilton Dill died Oct. 27, 2015, at Wuesthoff Hospice House in Florida following a lengthy illness.
She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Martin and husband, Joe, of Melbourne, Florida. Delores had three granddaughters, Lawren Crowson, of Daytona, Florida, Sarah Alison “Sassy” Gattozzi and husband, Chris, of Tuscaloosa, and Emily Crowson, of Huntsville; and three great-grandchildren, Joseph Owen, Anderson Michael, and Charlotte Mae Gattozzi. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Shirley Hamilton, and nephews, Barry Hamilton, Greg Hamilton, and Brad Hamilton, and niece, Vicki Harvey, and all of their children.
Delores worked in the aerospace industry for many years and retired from Rockwell International after 28 years. She enjoyed spending her time with friends and family. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and a member of the First Baptist Church.
A memorial to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, 2 p.m., at the Franklin Memory Gardens Chapel in Russellville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society for research.
