Delora Marlene Winfrey Delora Marlene Winfrey, age 66 of Douglas, passed away peacefully on October 12th, 2025.

Delora was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother (Lola) and friend to many. Delora loved working in her flower bed, thrifting with her friends and weekend getaways with her husband. Most of all, she loved spending time with her two grandbabies, both of whom quickly became her greatest joys. Delora’s memory will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her husband Mike Winfrey, sons; Tyler Monday (Jennifer) of Holly Pond and Jake Winfrey of Cullman, sisters; Jeanice Petty (Rickey) of Douglas, Lori Wade (Justice) of Ooltewah, TN and her brother; Allen Copeland (Betty) of Guntersville. She is also survived by two grandchildren: Copeland and Naomi Monday, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Winfrey is preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Felisa Copeland, also of Douglas.

Her funeral will be at Douglas First Baptist Church on Tuesday, October 14th, 2025, at 1 p.m. Bro. Chuck Knight will officiate. She will lie in state at the church from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. before the service. She will be laid to rest at Douglas Cemetery immediately following the service.
Pallbearers will be Rickey Petty, Tim Richardson, Terry Staton, Lynn Thompson, Justice Wade and Jeff Winfrey.

The family will be accepting flowers or donations can be made to Shepherd’s Cove Hospice of Marshall County.
