Della Mae Haggenmaker, age 61 of Decatur, AL passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital. Mrs. Haggenmaker was born on November 25, 1954 to William Orman and Doreene Sticherling Hames in Decatur, AL.
Preceded in death by her parents, W.O. and Doreene Hames; sister, Linda Parker; nephew, Bradley Jones and brother-in –law Danny Jones.
Mrs. Haggenmaker is survived by her husband, Doug Haggenmaker of Decatur; two daughters, Dawn ”Poots” Haggenmaker, and Leann Haggenmaker of Decatur; one son, C.D. Haggenmaker and wife DeeDee of Hartselle; two grandsons, Cameron Haggenmaker and Jayson Haggenmaker of Hartselle; adopted son, Gary Williams of Decatur; brother, Billy Hames and wife Regina of Hartselle; sisters, Jean Terry and Ellen Jones of Trinity.
Services for Mrs. Haggenmaker will be Monday, November 14, 2016 at the Apostolic Christian Church at 11:00 AM. The body will lie in state from 10:00-11:00. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 6:00-9:00 at limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Shawn Ray, Jim Haggenmaker, Alvie Lynn, Billy Hames, Alan Terry, William Parker, and Mark Ray.
Mrs. Haggenmaker was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church. She was a very loving wife and mother and she adored her grandbabies.
