Delilah Jean Stiefel Rupil, 74, of Fort Payne, passed away Friday, March 27, 2026. She was born February 9, 1952 in Fort Payne, Alabama and was a retired dental hygienist.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the 3 p.m. hour of service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Dekalb County Animal Shelter, 2601 Jordan Lane, Fort Payne, AL 35968.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years Kenneth Rupil and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Pauline Jones and her brother Danny Stiefel.
Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
