Delbert William Beckett, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026. He was born on November 13th 1942 in Wausau, Wisconsin, and later made his home in New Market, Alabama. Delbert will be remembered for the life he built, the love he shared, and the lasting impact he had on his family and all who knew him. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose presence brought strength, comfort, and love to those around him. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rita K Beckett; his six children; seventeen grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. His legacy lives on through each of them and through the many cherished memories they will carry forward. Delbert’s life was a testament to the importance of family, love, and perseverance. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Visitation will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home (Huntsville), on July 25, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A reception will follow at the funeral home.
