Dr. Delbert E. Bailey passed at his home in St. George, Utah on October 22, 2026 after a battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents Jimmie James Bailey and Hazel Vernell McCoy of Huntsville and his beloved wife of over forty years Judith Kae Avery Bailey.
He was very active in church as a pianist, organist and choir director. During his long career, he worked for the government, taught school and ran his own travel agency.
He is survived by wonderful friends he has held close for 50 years, his loving partner of over 20 years, Dr. Tony Martin of St. George, UT and his extended family of sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews and newer friends that will always hold his memory close to their heart.
