Lee Patton Willis Acklen, age 56 of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Winchester on June 8, 1963. Dedra enjoyed cooking, crafting, and growing flowers, but most of all, she loved the time spent with her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, June Patton. Dedra is survived by her partner, Steve Acklen of Winchester; father, Donald Lee Patton of Decherd; son, Derick Patton Willis of Winchester; step-son, Jeremy (April) Acklen of Cowan; step-daughter, Penny Acklen Patterson of Winchester; sisters, Dona (Joe) Carter of Winchester, Dian (Lance) Relford of Winchester, and Deneen Patton of Decherd; niece, Rachel Carter; nephews, Drew Relford and Lucas (Kassandra) Relford; great-niece, Savannah June Relford; and many loving friends and cousins. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 pm in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. Todd Coutta officiating. Interment will be at Franklin Memorial Gardens. Friends and family will then gather at the Moore-Cortner Reception Center for food and fellowship.
