Dedra Dianne Wilson Cruse, 74, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026 at North MS. Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. She was born in North Carolina to Eugene Wilson and Letra Maxwell Wilson. She was a homemaker and attended Jordan Hill Church of God of Prophecy.

Services will be Thursday, February 5, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Donnie Wooten officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, February 5, 12-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS. Burial will be in Joel Cemetery, Dennis, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, James Cruse; two children, Annie Pounders (Gary) and Malinda Cruse; step-daughter, Lavonda Cruse; grandchildren, Jesse and Dillon Pounders, Kevin and Ethan Cruse and Andrea Thompson; great-grandchildren; three brothers, Michael Wilson (Debbie), Joey Wilson and Phillip Wilson and two sisters, Polly Klipp and Tammy Massey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Bonnie Cruse, step-son, Edwin Cruse and two sisters, Pam Dykes and Mary Ellen Byram.

Pallbearers will be Buddy Ford, Joey Witt, Ethan Cruse, Kevin Cruse, Gary Pounders, Jesse Pounders and Dillon Pounders.
