DECATUR – Sixty youth soccer teams from Alabama, Tennessee and Mississippi will travel to Decatur the first weekend in November to compete in the Alabama Super Cup. Returning for the third year, the Alabama Super Cup is set for November 6-7, 2021, with all matches to take place at the Jack Allen Recreation Complex.
The Alabama Super Cup made its debut in the river city in 2019 with nearly 40 teams competing in the two day event. The two-day tournament offers U9-U19 boys’ and girls’ competitive soccer opportunities. Trophies and medals are awarded to first and second places in each division.
Matches are held at the Jack Allen Recreation Complex, one of the South’s premier soccer complexes boasting 11 fields and two championship fields. Coaches, athletes and guests are expected to follow all local, state and federal COVID-19 guidelines.
