THE SHOALS-The 9th Annual Polar Bear Plunge will be held at 1:00PM on New Year’s Day at McFarland Park. The plunge will take pace at 1:00PM on the beach at McFarland.

We are an organization aimed at bringing attention to and maybe preventing suicide; in the overwhelming rate of the veteran community, first responders, and our own community of youth. We do this by stopping to take an honest look at it. We do this by taking action.
Since our beginning, PBP McFarland (our awesome plungers and supporters) has raised close to $20,000 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The AFSP is the top rated non-profit in our country for Suicide Prevention. They do the real work, and cover all demographics from the Veteran looking at a hopeless present to the 15 year old looking at a hopeless future. Once again, all of our donations will go straight to them.
