Decatur Police Arrest Two Charged With Drug Trafficking

DECATUR-During the month of August 2023, Investigators with the Decatur Police Department’s Vice/Narcotics Unit opened an investigation into the trafficking of fentanyl in the 300-block of Tammy St. SW. During the investigation, Xavier Shundell Yarbrough, 26, of Decatur, and Arionna Yvonne Grayson, 24, of Decatur, were identified as the suspects.

On August 14, 2023, Investigators executed a search warrant at the residence and made contact with both subjects. During the search, approximately 1,500 fentanyl pills were located.

Subsequently, Yarbrough was placed under arrest and charged with two counts of trafficking in fentanyl. Yarbrough is currently out on

bond for an assault 1st degree charge. He was transported to the Morgan County Jail to be held in lieu of a $150,000 cash bond per a Circuit Court Judge. A bond revocation for Yarbrough is pending.

Grayson was charged with trafficking in fentanyl. She was transported to the Morgan County Jail to be held in lieu of a $20,000 bond per a Circuit Court Judge.
