DECATUR-The Decatur Police Department issued a press release concerning the arrest of suspect who has been charged with drug trafficking
“On January 26, 2023, Investigators conducted a vehicle stop on a Ford F150 on 8th Street near 2nd Avenue SW in reference to a traffic violation.
Investigators identified the driver as Tavoris Goode, 45, of Decatur. Investigators followed up with Goode at his residence and executed a search warrant. Goode was subsequently found to be in possession of a trafficking amount of methamphetamine.
Goode was placed under arrest and charged with trafficking in illegal drugs. He was transported to the Morgan County Jail where he was held in lieu of a $250,000 bond per a Morgan County Circuit Judge.
“The defendant is accused of the above crimes and should be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.”
