DECATUR-The Decatur Police Department and their Organized Crime Unit have been conducting a drug investigation during the month of July.
The Decatur Police released this statement regarding the arrests of five suspects on drug charges:
“During the month of July, members of the Decatur Police Department’s Organized Crime Unit conducted a narcotics investigation that involved a male identified as Timothy Shane Rogers. Rogers distributed a quantity of heroin on multiple occasions, from the residence of 314-406 Mockingbird Lane Southwest Decatur.
On August 1st, 2016 members of the Decatur Police Department’s Organized Crime Unit and Special Response Unit (SWAT) executed a narcotics search warrant at 314-406 Mockingbird Lane SW. Upon arrival, Officers located several subjects at the residence. During the search Investigators located marijuana and drug sale/use paraphernalia.
The following suspects were arrested and their charges and bonds are listed:
1.Timothy Shane Rogers, white male, DOB: 01/20/1990, 314-406 Mockingbird Lane SW Decatur, AL
Two count of Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia-Intent to Sale and Possession of marijuana 2nd Degree. Rogers was booked at the Decatur City Jail and transferred to the Morgan County Jail with an $11,000.00 bond.
2.Heather Michelle Forman, white female, DOB: 04/03/1991, 314-406 Mockingbird Lane SW Decatur, AL
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia-Intent to Use $500.00 bond.
3.Robert Blake Sumerel, white male, DOB: 01/06/1991, 1132 Hogan Road Falkville, AL.
Loitering and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia-Intent to Use $1000.00 bond.
4.David Anthony Juric, white male, DOB: 03/14/1988205 Sloss Street NE Hartselle, AL.
Loitering and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia-Intent to Use $1000.00 bond.
5.Molly Legg, white female, DOB: 07/15/1993, 2479 Vaugh Bridge Road Hartselle, AL.
Loitering and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia-Intent to Use $1000.00 bond.”
