Gilbert Lane Nix
DECATUR-The Decatur Police Department’s Anti-Crime Unit Made yet another drug bust. Here is how they describe the arrest:
“On 02/07/2014 members of Decatur Police Department’s Anti-Crime Unit conducted a traffic stop at the corner of 7th St. at Somerville Rd. for a traffic violation. The backseat passenger was identified as Gilbert Lane Nix. During the course of the stop, officers located drug paraphernalia on Nix’s person.
After Nix was transported to the City Jail on charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a quantity of Synthetic Cannabinoids (Spice) was located on his person.
Nix was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Tampering with Physical Evidence. Nix will later be transferred to the Morgan County Jail and held in lieu of a $3,500.00 bond.”
