It is with regret we announce the passing of Debra Sue Freeman, age 65, of Fayetteville, TN. Debra was born on August 13, 1957, in Tokyo, Japan and passed away on November 25, 2022, at Donalson Care Center in Fayetteville.
Debra previously worked with the Fayetteville Housing Authority cleaning homes and was a machine operator with C&S Plastics. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, collecting NASCAR memorabilia, and dolls.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Martha Ann Johnson; niece, Danielle Simmons (Chris) and their children, Avery, Ryder, and Aubree; uncle, Jimmy Steelman; and aunts, Sara Steelman, and Brenda Barnes. Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Oddie Johnson and Betty Steelman Johnson, and a brother, Danny Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Fabulous Fifties Foundation, PO Box 934, Fayetteville, TN 37334.
Private services were held at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Debra Sue Freeman.
