The world lost a bright, free spirited soul on, April 25, 2026. Debra (Debbie) Gene McBride Childress, 66 years old, of Pulaski TN. passed away doing what she loved.
Debbie lived life with a carefree heart and an adventurous spirit. Whether she was riding on the motorcycle with Ron down an open highway, heading out on a cruise, or soaking up the sun on a beach vacation, she embraced every moment with joy. She had a gift for lifting people’s spirits with her easy laugh, her cheerful “good morning” Snapchat pictures, or the funny coffee posts she shared on Facebook. Deb brought warmth and light wherever she went.
Debbie loved her children, grandchildren, and great‑grandchildren, and she cherished every moment spent with them. They were the heart of her world, and nothing brought her more joy than being surrounded by her family.
A dedicated volunteer, Debbie spent countless hours supporting The American Legion Post 60, always showing up with compassion and a willingness to help. Her motorcycle community was another family to her, and she cherished the freedom of the road, the friendships she built, and the stories shared along the way.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband Ronald Childress, her children, Kathy Grooms and husband Rob.
