Debra Ann Howell, 73, of St Florian, Alabama, peacefully passed into
the arms of her savior on Friday February 2, 2024.
Born on December 29, 1950 in Nyack, New York, she is survived by her
devoted husband Bobbie Ray Howell of 53 years. Debra is predeceased
by her son Robert Leonard Howell of New Windsor, NY and survived by
her four children: Kimberly Ann Schaut of Killen, AL; Heather Elizabeth
Cournoyer of North Scituate, RI; Krista Dawn Dellolio of Killen, AL; and
Justin Briley Howell of St. Florian, AL. Additionally, her surviving sister is
Renee Dawn Wood of Pinehurst, NC. Debra leaves behind her cherished
grandchildren: Michael Stephen Schaut Jr. of Killen, AL; Breanna Taylor
Schaut of Newburgh, NY; Kaylee Marie Spong of Pierce City, MO;
Rachael Ann Spong of Killen, AL; Alexis Noelle Spong of Killen, AL;
Hunter Harold Howell of New Windsor, NY; Chase William Howell of
New Windsor, NY; Travis J. Spong of Killen, AL; Lily Ann Howell of New
Windsor, NY; and her only great-grandchild, Morgan Ann Schaut of
Florence, AL. She is also remembered by many cousins, nieces,
nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Harold and Elinor Louise
Babcock of Stony Point, NY, sister Dianne Linda Skidmore of Toccoa,
GA, and brother Arthur Harold Babcock Jr. of East Waterford, PA.
Debra was committed to her faith, maintaining a daily relationship with
the Lord. She loved every single one of her children, grandchildren,
great-grandchild, and friends very much.
No services will be held, honoring Debra’s wishes. There will be a
celebration of life announced at a future date.
