Deborah L. Murrah, 57, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian. Debbie was a member of the Iuka Baptist Church where she worked as church secretary for over thirty years. She loved her church family and friends, and also enjoyed reading and cross stitching. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Friday, December 26, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 27, at the Iuka Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Johnny Hancock, Rev. Ron Plymel, and Ben McAnally. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Pete Walker, Jimmy Ramsey, Russ Robinson, Sean Bullard, Hosea Thorne, Gary Bullard, Jeff Moyers, and Jarrad Robinson. Honorary pallbearers include Don Hopewell, George Pearson, Dr. Al Flannery, and M. Ray Justice. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include her husband, Mike Murrah of Iuka; one daughter, LeeAnn Murrah of Iuka; one sister, June Pruett (Jack) of Mobile, AL; her father-in-law, Milton Lamar Murrah of Iuka; a niece, Angie Beasley (Tim) of Atlanta, GA; a sister-in-law, Donna McAnally (Buddy) of Iuka; a brother-in-law, David Murrah (Cindi) of Iuka; and five nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Laura Stricklen Lindsey, and her mother-in-law, Willene Hanson Murrah. Memorial contributions may be made to the Iuka Baptist Church Music Fund.
