Deborah Gayle Barnes – Obituary

Deborah Gayle Barnes, 62, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born September 26, 1955, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and moved to this area in 1978. She worked at JC Penney and also did factory work. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She enjoyed yard sales and going to church.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 9, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Jackie Gray and Bro. Tim Holsonback officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, John O. Barnes, and her parents, Odis and Eva Pierce Thomas, all of Fulton; and one sister-in-law, Renea Thomas; nephews, Ryan Thomas and Aaron Thomas; great-nephew Aiden Thomas; and great-nieces, Jenna Thomas and Kaylee Thomas, all of Kenosha, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Darryl Thomas; one sister, Lisa Nichols; and one niece, Kerri Nichols.

Pallbearers will be Ray Mauldin, Michael Mauldin, Cole Stanford, Korison Brown, Jeff Cayson, and Jerry Pierce.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at the funeral home.
