Funeral service for Deborah E. Currington, age 71, of Vinemont, will be Monday, April 7, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home chapel. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with Bro. G.T. Robertson officiating. Burial will be at Crossroads Cemetery at West Point.
Deborah was born in Flint, Michigan on September 20, 1953, to Fred Johnson and Mattie Sue Jolly Johnson. She passed away at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, April 3, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jackie Currington; grandson, Keaton Lantz Currington; brother, Ricky Johnson.
Deborah is survived by her daughter, Sherry (Doug) Schwan; sons: Jackie (Sabrina) Currington, Scottie (Brittney) Currington, and Shane (Amanda) Currington; grandchildren: Alan (Elise) Bright, Daniel Tucker (Stevie), Sydney (Kristian) Chappell, Sawyer (Emily) Currington, Dylan Currington, Karson Currington, Allysen Currington, Journie Currington, and Kori Currington, Remi Jagneaux, Laila Lewis, Brooklyn Thompson ; great grandchildren: Kadince and Ethan Fortenberry; Abigail Bright; Blakely Tucker, Marshall Tucker, Adelaide Chappell, Aurora Chappell, River and June Currington, and Rayah Williams; sisters Annie Sue (Tommy) Bailey, and Kathy Johnson and a host of other family members and friends.
