Mrs. Deborah “Debbie” Kent, age 58, of Scottsboro, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Highlands Medical Center.
Mrs. Kent is survived by her husband, Allen Kent; son, Emmett Kent; daughters, Carla Werno, Kelly Kent; son, Anthony Clements; grandson, Logan Werno; brothers, Carl O’Neal, Robert O’Neal; sisters, Brenda Walls, Edna Dowdy, Joyce Saint, Sharon Clements; brothers in-law, Austin Kent, James Arvis Kent; mother in-law, Estel Kent; a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents John and Elizabeth O’Neal; brother, William O’Neal; sister, Mary Rodgers.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. in the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Crumbly. Burial will be in the Skyline Cemetery.
