Final Tribute for Deborah Clarke

Deborah Clarke (née Limer), aged 57, of Madison, Alabama, peacefully passed away on October 13, 2026, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Deborah entered the world in Rotherham, England, born to her loving parents, the late Tony and Sheila Limer. Her life’s journey eventually brought her across the Atlantic to Texas, where she lived first in Houston and later in Dallas, before recently settling in Madison, Alabama. Throughout every move and new chapter, she was the deeply loved and devoted wife of Anthony (Tony) Clarke, building a beautiful home and sharing a lifetime of cherished memories.

Deborah was a woman defined by her caring nature and unwavering kindness. She faced her illness with the same quiet grace and resilience that defined her life, bringing a gentle spirit into the lives of everyone she met across her journeys. Whether she was supporting her loved ones or moving through her daily life, she did so with a generous heart that left a lasting impact on those around her.

Her legacy of love will live on through her surviving family: her husband, Tony; her beloved daughter, Hannah; her sister, Kerry; her brother, Gary; and a wide community of extended family and friends spanning from England to Texas and Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Sheila Limer.

Family and friends are invited to gather and honor Deborah’s life on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory, located at 16 Hughes Rd, Madison, AL 35758. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed immediately by a Celebration of Life service at 3:00 PM.

Regards

Tony Clarke
