Deborah Brackin Prescott, age 74, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Deborah was born on August 13, 1951, to Hobson Brackin and Elsie Lavern Cody. She worked for many years with the Times Daily and Autotrader. Deborah loved boating and spending time outdoors. She enjoyed watching and cheering on her favorite football team, the Alabama Crimson Tide. She cherished the time she spent with her friends and family, as well as her beloved Shih Tzus. Deborah is survived by her sons, Chris (Linda) and Bart (Jessica); daughter, Ashley (Reagan); sister, Linda; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
