HUNTSVILLE-On Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 12:30 pm in Arthur J. Bond Hall, Room 233 Alabama A&M University will hold the September Dean’s Speaker Series. The September Keynote Speaker: Isabelle Brothers
“The Last Disciples”
THE ISABELLE BROTHERS are Huntsville, Alabama natives who are taking the independent film making scene by storm. The “Brothers” are each alumni of Historical Black Colleges and Universities. (Jurian, a Communications major from Alabama State University, Class of 2008; Jeremy, a Forestry major from Alabama A&M University, Class of 2016; and David, a Visual Media, Graphic Design and Telecommunications major from Alabama A&M University, Class of 2014). Their debut film The Last Disciples is currently making its way through film festival circuits and it’s destined to make an impact in the industry. The Brothers’ trademark style of “ultra-realism” and conscious content is a unique one-two punch. Utilizing the influential medium of film making, they aspire to provoke self reflection and conversation in a time where verbal communication and understanding is diminishing.
