Ms. Deana Diane McClendon, age 53, of Arab, Alabama passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023 at her residence. She was born January 7, 1970 in Cullman County, Alabama. Her parents were Lawrence McClendon, Jr. and Betty Sue Duke McClendon. She was a former resident of Cullman but had lived in the Arab area for over 23 years. Ms. McClendon was employed by Sanmina/SCI where she worked in the assembly/production department.
Diana was of the Baptist faith. She loved her family very much and especially enjoyed taking care of her nieces and nephews. She was very creative and thoroughly enjoyed arts and crafts. One of Diana’s best friends was her dog, Copper.
Ms. McClendon is survived by her son, Saje McClendon (Nicole Kuby); brothers, Billy McClendon, Tony McClendon (Veronica), Gary McClendon (Becky), Darrell McClendon (Rebecca); sisters, Donna Hyre, Deborah Penny (Earl) and Danisa Brown (Joey); and a host of nieces and nephews.
Ms. McClendon is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Betty Sue McClendon; brother, James McClendon; and sister, Dana McClendon.
The family has elected cremation. A private family visitation will be held.
