Dean Long Chenault 86, of Hartselle passed away Thursday March 2, 2017 at Decatur Morgan Hosptial. She was born on Aug. 14, 1930 in Danville to Charles and Lillian Long. She was employed with the City of Decatur and Morgan County School System where she drove a school bus for 25 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Chenault and a sister Ailene Boger.
She is survived by her son, Michael Lynn Chenault (Sherry); two grandsons, Wesley Chenault (Savannah) and Easton Chenault; three sisters, Ima Stevens, Loretta McCaghran (Bobby) and Doris Ratliff (Jim).
Visitation will be today, March 4, 2017 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church. Graveside service will follow at Johnson Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Dan Durbin officiating.
Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
