Dawn Koger Kennedy went to be with our Lord and Savior, at the age of 51, on Wednesday, July 25, 2018.
A celebration of life will be held at Berryhill Funeral Home, located at 2305 N Memorial Parkway, Huntsville, Al 35810. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm, Saturday, July 28th, with the funeral service at 3:00pm and burial will follow at Cameron Cemetery.
Dawn was born on April 11, 1967 in Huntsville, Al to Rachel and Charles Koger. She graduated in 1985 from Buckhorn High School in New Market, AL.
After graduating high school she attended UAH. She was in the banking and medical business for many years and eventually worked her way to doing independent drug studies.
Her hobbies included decorating, especially holiday decorating, baking and cooking, watching birds in the backyard, and she loved gardening. She especially loved enjoying time with her loving grandson, Esaias Camp.
Dawn was preceded in death by her father, Charles Koger and her loving dog, Powder. She is survived by her loving husband, Doug Kennedy; three children, Madison Dawn Camp and husband Taylor Camp and grandson Esaias Camp, and Hannah and Taylor Kennedy; mother, Rachel Koger; sister, Angie Kilpatrick and husband Stan; brother, Greg Koger and wife Betsy; and brother, David Koger.
Pallbearers will be Cole Koger, Trent Kilpatrick, Alex Stone, Dustin Koger, Dylan Koger, and Jacobie Edwards.
