Dawn Katherine (Kennedy) Rowton ObituaryMrs. Dawn Katherine Kennedy Rowton was born June 29, 1961, to her father the late Mr. john Kennedy and her surviving mother Mrs. Joy Howie Kennedy in Garden City, MI. She would spend her childhood in Michigan eventually graduating high school with the class of 1979 and began her adult life working in various capacities throughout the years. She would meet her husband Mr. Billy Rowton and the two would marry in Michigan on December21, 1982, forever intertwining their hearts and lives and remained married until her passing. The couple would move to Cypress Inn, TN in 2017 making the area their new home and enjoy the beautiful scenery and friendly people they would encounter.  She most recently worked in the food service industry for American Food and Vending that provides meals and services for those employed with General Motors Company in Spring Hill, TN.  She possessed a deep love for animals as she was a member of the ASPCA often donating to help those neglected and suffering. She was a long-time member of the Jehovah Witness faith, in her leisure time she could be found reading her bible, often deep in biblical studies, and listening to Christian music.  However, she held no other moments close to her heart than the moments she spent with her husband, children, grandchildren, church family and dear friends. Mrs. Dawn passed from this life on Saturday December 20, 2025, at her home making her stay on this earth some 64 years and 5 months.

 

Those left to honor her memory are her husband of 42 years Mr. Billy Rowton of Cypress Inn, TN, children Ryan Rowton and wife Jenna of MI, Britnee Merron and husband Ethan of OR and Garrett Rowton of Cypress Inn, TN; siblings Scott Kennedy of MI and Craig Kennedy of NC; grandchildren Abel Rowton and Noah Rowton as well as many other family members, friends and loved ones.
