Memorial service for Davy Calvin Steele age 69 of Falkville will be Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 1:00pm at Renovation Church, 14142 AL. Hwy 157, Vinemont, AL. with Ryan Wilburn officiating. A time of visitation will be from 12 noon until service time on Tuesday at the Church.
Mr. Steele, who was born August 12, 1957, in Morgan County to Calvin C. Steele and Estelle F. Prater Steele, died on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at his home.
Davy was a loving person and would help anyone in any way he could. He loved to fish, hunt, and when he was able, he enjoyed spending time in the mountains. He found great peace in nature.
His hobby was raising chickens and roosters to pass the time. He will be truly missed by is family and friends and things just want be the same without him. His contagious laugh will always linger in our hearts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 sisters: Kathy Wilhite and Patsy Steele.
