David William Treat, age 74, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Philadelphia, PA, retired account for Consumer Roofing, a minister, and a member of His Word Ministry. Mr. Treat served his country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira Dewitt and Anna Hiddmen Treat; two step-children, Harold Dausch, Jr. and Heath Dausch; and one brother, Glen Treat.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Treat of Lawrenceburg, TN; three children, Jenny Acord (Rick), Mike Treat (Colleen), and Jessie Graham (Matthew); one step-daughter, Holly Dike (Ronald); fourteen grandchildren, Joshua, Autury (Morgan), Paiton, Kylie, Natalie, Alexis, Alayna, Landon, Josiah, Jackson, Addison, Emmarie, Olivia, and Heath; two great-grandchildren, Ivory and Nash; and one brother, Ronald Treat (Joan), Macungie, PA.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services and military honors will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 21, 2021, with Dan McCullough officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Greenwood, IN.
