David Wheeler – Obituary

Funeral services for Mr. David Wheeler, age 87, are scheduled for 2:00pm Tuesday September 19, 2017 at Bargerton Church of Christ with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Wheeler passed away Friday in Jackson, Tn. He was born in Henderson County to the late Jonathan Scott and Mary Edna Hale Wheeler. He was an Elder and long time member at Bargerton Church of Christ, Navy Veteran serving in the Korean War and retired supervisor from Delavan. Survivors include his wife of 67 years- Bernice Wheeler, 2 sons- Johnny Wheeler (Sherry) and Charles Wheeler (Regina), 1 daughter- Carol Ary (Glenn), 7 grandchildren- Jon Wheeler (Andrea), Jay Wheeler (Ashlee), Jason Wheeler, Jenny Markum (Corey), Clint Ary (Allison), Nikki Nolen (Daniel) and Charlie Wheeler, 16 great grandchildren, sister in law- Martha Wheeler and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers- Reed Wheeler and Eugene Wheeler and 1 sister- Eva Harris.
