David Wesley Carroll, 59 of Joppa passed away Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Marshall Medical Center North. He was born April 7, 1967, in Cullman the son of Aaron Wesley Carroll and Marzie Carolyn Rasco Carroll. He was a 1985 graduate of Fairview High School and received his bachelor’s degree from Southeastern University. He taught in several schools before declining health led him to step away from the classroom.
He is survived by his parents: Aaron and Marzie Carroll, brother: Dion Carroll (Beverly); nieces and Nephews: Shontel Carroll, Caleb Carroll (Whitney), Nathaniel Carroll, Ben Carroll and Bethany Letson (Zach); host of great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Gober Funeral Chapel with Brother Phillip Cody officiating. The burial will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Baileyton.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
