David Wayne “Smitty” Smith, age 56, of Falkville, passed away Friday evening, Sept. 2, 2016, at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, on March 12, 1960, to parents, Elderidge “Smitty” and Sue Bailey Smith. He was preceded in death by his father, Elderidge “Smitty” Smith.
Survivors include his son, Justin Smith; mother, Sue Smith Borowski; and a sister, Denise Smith.
The family will receive friends at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home on Wednesday evening, Sept. 7, 2016, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
