David Wayne Smith, 57, of Waterloo, passed away, Thursday, September 7, 2023. There are no services scheduled at this time.
David was in the Army National Guard, and was a retired mechanic.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruby Ellene and Willard Smith; and sister, Linda Ann Poarch.
David is survived by his children, Zach Smith (Jennifer) of Oklahoma and Brent Smith of Montgomery; grandchildren, Warren and Jameson Smith of Oklahoma; brother, Danny Smith (Beverly) of Florence; sisters, Sandy Smith of Cherokee, Patti Walker (Charles) of Hazel Green, and Kay Crunk (Larry) of Tennessee; and special friend, Deb Borden.
The family would like to send a special thanks to Affinity Hospice, Shea Eubanks and Howell Bigham.
