David Wayne “Little Bit” Thigpen, age 59, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014. Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Chris Weldon will officiate. Burial will be in Florence City Cemetery.
Mr. Thigpen was preceded in death by his wife, Angie Bianco Thigpen, and his father, David Thigpen.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Pratt Phillips; siblings, Gary Dale Thigpen, Twana Thigpen Clemons, Vince Thigpen, and Karen Sharp; brother-in-law, Jeff Bianco; cousin, Lindie and Harold Cole; friend and pastor, Chris Weldon; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
