David Steven Eckstein 48, of Ardmore, AL died Thursday, December 5, 2019 at his home.
Born Saturday, December 26, 1970 in Athens, AL, he was the son of David Richard (Ricky) Eckstein and Shirley Jo Eckstein.
David loved sports and especially enjoyed coaching and watching his sons playing sports. He was a member of Sweet Springs Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley Jo Eckstein, Ardmore, AL; sons, Matthew David Eckstein and Andrew Steven Eckstein, both of Ardmore, AL; special friend, Sissie Eckstein, Ardmore, AL; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL, at 2:00 PM with Bro. James Turner officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
Pallbearers will be Steve Turner, Stanley Turner, Rickey Turner, Rusty Young, Donnie Young and Chris Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be James Turner, Jackie Turner and Johnny Eckstein.
