David Shawn Appleton, 35, of Decatur, was born March 20, 1980 to Patricia Brooks Appleton and Elmer Appleton Jr.
Shawn was a member of Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church. He was an electrician at Epic Design and Contracting.
His mother preceded him in death.
Survivors include his father, Elmer Appleton Jr.; brothers, Tony Appleton and Keith Appleton (Amy), both of Moulton, and Jamie Appleton (Amanda) of Hartselle; daughters, Morgan Potts and Madison Appleton and their mother, Tonya Appleton of Trinity; grandmother, Pamela Appleton of Moulton; four nieces and one nephew.
A memorial service will be held at Sulpher Springs Baptist Church, Saturday, September 5th at 2 p.m. with Pastor David Currie officiating. Special thank you to Roselawn Funeral Home.
