Funeral services for Baby David Shane Clifton, age 20 months of Oxford, will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Methodist Protestant Bible Church Cemetery.
Baby David passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018. He had a big infectious smile, enjoyed his trampoline, rocking horse, dancing to music and he especially loved his “Tickle Me” Elmo, Mickey Mouse and his binkie.
He is survived by his parents: Leah Clifton and Steven Canness of Oxford; two brothers: Payton Clifton and J.D. Maddox, both of Oxford; his grandparents: Rita Clifton of Oxford and Ricky and Theresa White of Oxford; his special cousins: Christina Hill, Amanda Watts, Victoria Ragsdale and Sunny Williamson; several aunts and uncles plus a large extended family.
Pallbearers will be Justin Weir, Wade Lowman, Nick Watts and Kaleb Wright.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
