David Samuel Crook, 55, of Tupelo, MS, formerly of Ripley, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Garner Funeral Home in Ripley, Tennessee at 1 PM and funeral services at 2 PM. Graveside burial service will be held immediately afterward at Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley. Garner Funeral Home of Ripley has charge of the services.
Mr. Crook was a member of First Baptist Church. He was a retired retail manager.
He is survived by his mother, Brenda Daniels Crook Klyce and his special friend of 35 years, Michael Bordelon of Tupelo; Michael’s children, Laykin Bordelon, Blake Bordelon Jr.; Aunts Linda Gaines, Sharon Lowery and Pamela Gaines Allmon; his loving pets, Dip, Febe, Tom and Tiegee. He was preceded in death by his father, Sammy Crook.
