David Samuel Adams – Obituary

David Samuel Adams, 83, died Dec. 11, 2015, peacefully at his home. After 20 years of military service, Adams retired as Command Sergeant Major. After his service, he went on to retire from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
Survivors include wife, Noriko Adams; daughters, Faye Adams Temple (Blake) and Sue Adams Roberts (David); grandchildren, Natalie Temple Harbin (Win), Forrest Temple (Cathorine), Rachel Roberts, David Adams Roberts and Rebekah Roberts Warren (John); great-grandchildren, Nora Grace Harbin, Hoyt Ewin Harbin V, and Leta Marian Temple; brother, Tom Adams (Barbara); sisters, Maxine Grossman and Shirley Mitchell (Brad); and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 14, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Decatur Presbyterian Church. The funeral will follow at noon with Reverend Tommy Lee officiating and Stu Schieler providing the music.
Pallbearers will be Wade Littrell, Tim Lovelace, John Lyons, Mickey Moseley, Steve Sasser, David Whitcomb and David Zajic. Honorary pallbearers will be John Abbott, Morris Braly, Walter Hargett, Jack Mullican, John Mullican and Milton Sivley.
Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
