David Russell Garner, 57, passed away at his residence on June 18, 2017. He was a retired machinist foreman for the TVA Power Service Shop, a Christian, and a U.S. Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Ronda Phillips Garner; father, Joe Mac Garner, Toledo, Ohio; mother, Dorris Garner, Lexington; sons, Jesse Garner, Lexington, and Chiz Garner (Tracie), Rogersville; daughter, Shannon Garner, Killen; brothers, Michael Garner (Faye), Florence, Mark Garner (Belinda), Greenhill, Joseph Garner (Teresa), Greenhill, and Tim Garner, Lexington; sisters, Pam Vaden (Larry), Florence, Beth Gresham (Perry), Grassy, Lori Newton (Gary), Lexington, and Lisa Richardson (Chris), Greenhill; and grandson, Isaac Garner.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Jamie Garner.
Visitation will be tomorrow, June 20, from noon-2:30 p.m. at Greenhill Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Allen Cemetery, off of Hwy 64, in the Center Hill/Arkdale Community.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Garner, Chiz Garner, Mark Garner, Mark Garner, Jr., Michael Garner, and Tim Garner. Honorary pallbearers will be Isaac Garner and Joseph Garner.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
