David Robert Sutinen – Obituary

David Robert Sutinen, age 76, of Hazel Green, passed away on Saturday June 1, 2013.

Mr. Sutinen was born in Hancock, MI in 1936 and came to Huntsville to live in 1958. He retired after 20 years of service in the US Army with tours in Korea, Panama, and Germany. Mr. Sutinen is also retired from SCI. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Flora Silfven Sutinen; his grandson, Dominick Dibiasi; three brothers; and two sisters.

Mr. Sutinen is survived by his daughters, Narriman Dibiasi, Carmen Szabo, and Patricia McMurtrey; his sons, Andrew Sutinen and Rafael Sutinen; his grandchildren, Michelle Campos, Nicholas Dibiasi, Paul Szabo, Heather Sutinen, Sarah Sutinen, and Darlene Beane; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Campos, Brandon Campos, Emalee Dibiasi, and Tehya Sutinen; his former spouse, Olivia Sutinen; and his beloved pet, Amber.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday June 4, 2013 at 1pm in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville with burial to follow in Huntsville Memory Gardens. Alan Weatherly will be officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
